Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions (MACC)

The Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions (MACC) is a non-profit organization that provides environmental education, training, and assistance in throughout Massachusetts. They have a a certificate training program and a wetlands 101 course ton understanding of MA Wetlands Protection Act and regulations; wetlands protection and permitting; open space planning, protection, and management; and conservation commission responsibilities and operations.

The University of New Hampshire Professional Development & Training

The U.S. Army Corps Wetland Delineator Methods Training is a 37-hour, five-day, training course is based in part on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Wetlands Delineation Manual. Please note that these trainings include a fee.

The University of New Hampshire also has a Certificate Program in Soil Science will provide you with practical skills on how to examine soil profiles, identify how soils develop over time, record test pits, and much more.
